Hendrik Frentrup
Hendrik FrentrupAssociate Senior Consultanthfrentrup@tecknic.net
PhD Computational Chemical Engineering, MSc in Mechanical Engineering. Hendrik has extensive practical experience in developing data pipelines that automate reporting functions and allow for the continuous analysis of business activity. In this context, he has been involved in the establishment of a data platform to report on technology risk for a major NYC-based asset management company. The project included the integration of multiple data sources, orchestration of ETL and data cleansing processes as well as the implementation of a graph-based entity resolution algorithm. In an iterative manner, the primary metrics were then successfully established with the client, the corresponding Python/PySpark application developed and deployed on-site. Interactive dashboards for visualisation were built for various stakeholders within the company. Moreover, he has recently helped a London-based consumer retail business perform a migration of analysis and reporting tasks from spreadsheets to a version-controlled code-base. The automation of data processing resulted in better visibility of the analysis tasks, a reduced error rate and a much faster turn-over, which meant a higher reporting cadence became feasible.
